Qualities
Clearthix® S is a natural viscosity modifier for water based systems. This synergistic mixture of natural gums produces a smooth, transparent gel that can be used on its own or in an emulsion. The gels produced are moisturising and can be used as a base for facial products, after sun gel, eye gels, masks etc. The product is non-pilling and non-tacky on drying
USE LEVELS / GUIDELINES FOR USE
Up to 2% in the water phase, disperse under high shear mixing.
Can achieve viscosities up to 5500 cps.
Use at room temperature or at temperatures up to 70ºC.
Keep final formulation between pH 4 – 9.
