AMTicide Coconut is a clear to slightly hazy liquid, intended to be coupled with one of our broad-spectrum antimicrobials, such as Leucidal® SF Max, or any preservative blend that is lacking in protection against yeasts and moulds. AMTicide Coconut is created by fermenting Cocos nucifera (coconut) fruit with Lactobacillus to deliver a non-irritating, anti-fungal and effective multifunctional product

Qualities

AMTicide Coconut is a natural and eco-friendly replacement for Potassium Sorbate or Sodium Benzoate for added protection. Based on the Manufacturers bench-scale evaluations, as well as actual product applications, AMTicide® Coconut has been found to be effective over a wide range of typical cosmetic and personal care product manufacturing conditions. The product has been found to be heat stable up to 70°C and active under both acidic (pH 3) and basic conditions (pH 8). Manufacturers usage levels are 2.0 - 4.0%. In addition to the anti-fungal properties mentioned above, Amticide Coconut is used in Moisturising products and Skin/Scalp conditioning products..
