Zinc Ricinoleate is the Zinc salt of Ricinoleic acid, a purified fatty acid found in Castor Oil, from the seeds of the Ricinus communis plant. It is supplied as white to ivory cream coloured waxy pellets for ease of use.
Qualities
Zinc Ricinoleate is a very effective deodorant agent and odor absorber for many cosmetic applications, based on the zinc salt of Ricinoleic Acid. It is especially suitable and most popular for use in emulsion or stick type deodorant formulations. Manufacturer suggest dosage of 0.5 - 1.5% in emulsions
