Our highly active, easy to handle BTMS-50 pastilles, offers formulators an flexible conditioning agent for skin and hair care products. With its higher quat content (~ 50% Behenyl C22) and lower fatty alcohol content, formulators can use it to adjust the quat:fatty alcohol ratio and customize the conditioning performance of the finished product.
Qualities
For Hair Care, its offers excellent detangling and wet combing properties, ideal for leave-in & wash-off conditioners, ethnic hair care and hair dyes.
For Skin Care, it forms cationic emulsions that impart long lasting, wash tolerant moisturizing & skin smoothing properties, all while being exceptionally mild and non-irritating. Idea for skin creams, lotions and shaving preparations. Usage levels of 1 - 10%
